March Forth to Awesomeness

It's that time of year again.  You know, that time in the year when you've realized that not only does Santa Claus not exist - and you've blown away any recollection of your New Years' Resolutions- but you've yet again been led astray by a ground hog on the promise that Spring will be here next week.  Yes, it's March Forth!  That one day in the year when the calendar itself commands you to get up off your duff and do something to kick start your year.

I'd highly suggest adding a bunch more awesome to your life this year.  But then again, I'm a bit biased, you know, by hanging out with so many awesome people.  But dagnabbit!  Let's share that awesome feeling across this great city.  :)

Last evening, on March 4th, we held the inaugural meeting of the Calgary Chapter of the Awesome Foundation at Kaffa Coffee House in Marda Loop.  Can I tell you how awesome it is to be seeking and finding(!) so many awesome people in Calgary?  We're officially off and running.   Follow us and help us fund a truly awesome idea each month!

Kudos and congrats to all of the Awesome Trustees and Awesome Propagation Team!  These 10(+2) trustees have opened their hearts, minds and wallets to bring awesome ideas to life in Calgary.   Yes, you read that correctly!  The demand to be a part of something so awesome was so overwhelming that we've decided to add in a special Calgary twist ...  twice a year we'll offer an additional $1000 grant for an extra idea that truly deserves an awesome boost.  (how cool is that?)

Check out the updated submission guidelines and Award Party details ... and get your ideas in by the next deadline (hint: it's the 10th of each month) - don't procrastinate ('cuz we know we all do!) - the early ideas get the worm.  No, that's not it.  hummm .. well, regardless - get those submissions in and prepare to bowl us over with your ingenuity, creativity and overall awesomeness.  There's a $1000 of free money in it.  What's not to love??

PS:  we can always use a few more APT (Awesome Propagation Team) members.  If you're awesome and you know it clap your hands! (and send us an email).

Until next time, be awesome!
